Spring Shadowrun - Meet new players

This will be the first open Meetup of Spring 2008.

I'm looking to expand our gaming group to capacity (7) active people (1GM, 6 players).

We currently meet weekly on Sundays at 3pm till 9pm-10pm-ish, so if you can commit to attend 75% or more of the time - we would like to meet you! If we are down more than 2 core players in any week, we usually still meet up for random board games or food - it's a fun group of people.

Our South Suburb group is currently populated by 4 members age 20s-40s, from various backgrounds in Shadowrun, now playing a 99% by-the-book Fourth Edition game. Half of this group met as strangers from Meetup and other online connections, so we are open to new friends and fellow gamers from online. 4 of the 5 members have actually run games with the current cast of characters, with 2 of us being regular GMs. This has led to a fun and almost "troupe style" roleplaying feel to the group. We balance action, careful planning, serial storylines and one-off adventures rather well - and use the change of GMs as a way to change locations, contacts, and themes. We'd like to add 2 to 3 more fun, engaging, sharp people to our group - you must enjoy interactive roleplaying and the cooperative planning aspects of a shadowrun game, or you probably won't get along with this group.

P.S. We don't generally have meeting fees - people just bring their own food/drinks/snacks, or we order food together since the game usually runs through dinner time.
