South Chicagoland & NW Indiana Shadowrun Group April Meeting

This is the first open-invite day our own personal group is holding. We have 5 current members, and plan to expand to a total of 7.

If you are within a reasonable (to you) travel distance of Tinley Park, IL - join up if you'd like to play and/or GM a Shadowrun 4th Edition game with some fun, sharp players!

If our location in the South Suburbs of Chicago is not practical for you to attend reliably, you are welcome to join this Meetup and instead use the membership to advertise your own game or willingness to play in another. By all means, don't just *wish* you could play, GET OUT THERE AND PLAY! :)

Our South Suburb group is currently populated by 5 members age 20s-40s, from various backgrounds in Shadowrun, now playing a 99% by-the-book Fourth Edition game. Half of this group met as strangers from Meetup and other online connections, so we are open to new friends and fellow gamers from online. 4 of the 5 members have actually run games with the current cast of characters, with 2 of us being regular GMs. This has led to a fun and almost "troupe style" roleplaying feel to the group. We balance action, careful planning, serial storylines and one-off adventures rather well - and use the change of GMs as a way to change locations, contacts, and themes. We're looking for 1-2 fun, engaging, sharp people to add to our group - you must enjoy interactive roleplaying and the cooperative planning aspects of a shadowrun game, or you probably won't get along with this group.
